The SE-CMF Series delivers high-precision 0.1%/0.15% FS accuracy for demanding industrial environments. Direct mass measurement eliminates the need for temperature, pressure, or density compensation. Tube Oscillation

The measuring tubes are driven to oscillate at their natural frequency (typically 80–120 Hz) by a driver coil, similar to a tuning fork.

Coriolis Force Generation

When fluid flows through the vibrating tubes, Coriolis forces are induced, causing a measurable phase shift between the inlet and outlet sides.

Phase Shift Measurement

Dual electromagnetic sensors detect the time delay (phase difference), which is directly proportional to the mass flow rate — independent of fluid properties.

Multi-Variable Output

The DSP calculates mass flow, density, and temperature simultaneously. Density is derived from tube resonant frequency; temperature from an integrated RTD.

  • Hastelloy C-276 — For highly corrosive chemicals, acids & chlorides. Resists pitting and stress-corrosion cracking.
  • Titanium Alloy — Lightweight and highly corrosion-resistant. Ideal for seawater, brine & aggressive alkali environments.

Communication Protocols

  • HART — Industry-standard 4–20 mA with digital overlay. Compatible with existing DCS and PLC analog input cards.
  • RS485 Modbus — Multi-drop network for up to 32 devices. Supports RTU and ASCII modes with CRC check.
  • Modbus TCP — Ethernet-based communication for high-speed data acquisition and remote monitoring.
  • Other protocols (Profibus PA, Foundation Fieldbus) available on request.
